Recently, I snagged the Living Social deal for Jackson,MS that was good for $15 to Cups for $7. I used $5 in referral bucks I had, so I got that deal for $2.

Today, I was excited to see this deal on That 70's Chick's wall:

An exclusive coupon for Buy one coffe,etc.. and Get one Drip Coffee of the Same Size FREE for a friend!

Go HERE to see and print her coupon.  I don't see an expiration date, but it is valid ONLY at the Crossgates location.

Are You a Member?

Are You a Member?
Free Memberships that Offer Nice Freebies or Discounts
This is a list of some places online that offer members only discounts, perks, freebies, etc.  If you are going to shop online, browse online, print coupons from online, or sign up for free samples online, these are a few places I have found to be handy and rewarding.

  • Go HERE to sign up to shop through Ebates.  If you are going to shop online anyway, might as well get cash back for free, right? How it works is you log in to Ebates. Then, you search for the store online you want to shop. Just click the link through Ebates and shop like normal. Then, you will get a "Big Fat Check" rebate mailed to you.  Also, you can find some good coupons and online discount codes on Ebates.  I just checked and the Disney Store online has a 5% cash rebate when you shop through Ebates right now.  The downside? Ebates can track your purchases to see what your shopping habits are. New members do get a "sign up bonus". Sometimes it is $5, sometimes $10, etc.
  • Have you signed up for Kraft's First Taste Program? How it works: Go HERE to sign up with Kraft First Taste. Then, check your email and the site from time to time. You will get chances to sign up for members only freebies and samples of new Kraft products.. from Jello to Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cooking Creme, etc..
  • I have really loved the perks from joining the P&G Brand Saver online.  Every month, you can sign in and check the samples and coupons you want to receive. Then, they mail you a members only package. It is really nice. I have scored many freebies at Target and drugstores using these coupons. The nice thing I have noticed is that often these coupons may not have the size exclusions the ones in the paper have.. and often they are also more valuable. Go HERE to register.
  • A similar members only freebies site to P&G is the Vocalpoint one. Go HERE to sign up for this.
  • Living Social is a site where you can purchase deals cheaply. You might get 50% off or more. The neat thing is that if you share the deal you purchase while it is still "live" and 3 of your friends purchase the deal through your link, you get yours FREE! Go HERE to sign up for various city "subscriptions" so you can get some great deal alerts. Recently, I purchased a $20 Amazon gift card for only $10. I used that to pay $4 for a huge box of PopTarts.
  • Similar to Living Social is Groupon. You don't get your Groupon deal free if 3 people buy from you, but I have still scored some really great deals going through Groupon.  Go HERE to check it out and sign up.
  • Want free shipping on Amazon.com on Prime Eligible items, no minimum purchase necessary? Go HERE to sign up for a FREE membership to Amazon Mom.  You also get steep discounts on baby necessities like diapers.  There is no hidden cost. When your membership expires, there is nothing to cancel, etc.
There are lots of reputable places online to sign up for savings and freebies. What are some of your faves?

Poptart Sale On Amazon This Month!

Looking for a Deal on Poptarts?
Check This No Coupon Needed Deal Out!
This month you can get 25% off on PopTarts on Amazon.com.  And, you don't need a coupon, just a code!

Here's What To Do:
  1. Sign up for Amazon Mom or Be a Prime Member. Amazon Mom is free and will give you a few months of discounts on baby stuff and free shipping on everything Prime Eligible.
  2. Go HERE to search for PopTarts and find your fave Prime Eligible/ Subscribe and Save Deal.
  3. Select the PopTarts you want that have the Prime Eligible/Subscribe and Save Features and Click to Subscribe for automatic shipments every 6 months.  You will get a % off for using this feature.
  4. When prompted/able enter the discount code POPTART2 for an extra % off.
  5. Finish checking out and enjoy steep savings and free shipping!
  6. AFTER you get your shipment, go cancel your automatic delivery subscription unless you want to keep getting PopTarts for whatever price they are selling them at the time.

This is pretty easy and straightforward.  HERE is a deal I like. Get 8 packs of 12 ct Chocolate Fudge PopTarts for $18.12, shipped, when you are a Prime/Mom Member, you Subscribe and Save, and you use the code above.  That is 96 PopTarts! Reg Amazon price is $43.40 for this pack.  In store, you would pay around $3.50 on average for each box. That would run about $28 or higher, depending on the store or weekly price.  This month, you save about $10 to order through Amazon. And they come to your door! :)

Recently, I used this code, found a good deal, and used the $20 gift cert I bought on Living Social for $10 on some Chocolate Chip PopTarts. I got a HUGE box of PopTarts, and after the cert and discounts, I paid $4!! ($14 if you want to go back and figure in the costs of the $20 cert!)  LOVE IT!! :)

1/2 off Food and Drink at Pan Asia in Jackson, MS

Today's Living Social Deal for Jackson, MS is oh so Yummy!
$20 for $40 in Food and Drink at Pan Asia
Many of my readers will be interested in this dining deal for Pan Asia in Jackson, MS.  Go HERE to Living Social and purchase this hot certificate for $20 off $40 in Food AND Drink at Pan Asia.  Make sure you read the fine print and expiration terms.

If you have never been to Pan Asia but love Chinese, Japanese, or even Indian food, you will really LOVE Pan Asia. This is an affordable way to check them out. Caution! You will get addicted to their food!
I love that the waiters are usually attentive. In the past, I have taken my three kids, gotten a spacious corner booth, and the waiters have brought mini MagnaDoodle boards for the kids to draw on! I loved this, bc there weren't any crayons to roll off the table.

I just bought this deal myself.. I am hoping to get a weekend getaway with my husband this summer. He has never been to Pan Asia, so this will be quite a treat!
When you go, try the Naan Bread appetizer with roasted garlic!

Reader's Requests

You Guys Have Made Some Deal Finding Requests
I Am On It!
One of my goals for this blog is to be more follower friendly. If you guys are seeking a particular deal or have a certain question, I want to format the blog to suit your needs.  There are quite a few bigger, more comprehensive blogs, etc out there to follow for the normal, day to day sale info.  I recommend Couponing to Disney and Totally Target, to name a couple.  My goal is to have this blog be supplemental to the other  blogs.  As such, I am able to give you more original content and tailor my content to your needs.

So, what are you guys looking for right now?
  1. A good deal on a printer for couponing purposes
  2. A good deal on women's shaving cream (yeah, seems like most of the good deals in this case are for the men lately!)
  3. Some good deals on GattiTown
I am totally on all that!

Also, we have had a reader inquire about places that double coupons. I am on that too!  Look for a detailed post about these items by tomorrow.  In the meantime, anyone out there have any thoughts or ideas on these items?

In the meantime, always think outside the box.  If I needed a printer, when that Living Social deal came around a couple weeks ago, $10 for $20 at Amazon.com Limit One per account, I would have bought that deal. Then, I would have had my husband purchase the deal.  Right there, that is $20 for $40 off a printer at Amazon.com! :) You have to think of things creatively sometimes.

Also, if there is a place that you like to go, or a product you like to purchase  but it is usually a little pricey for your day to day budget, try googling the company's official website. Send a nice email. Include your address and information and let them know you want to patronize their establishment/product. Ask how you can go about finding some deals/coupons.  Be really nice. You never know, a lot of these places will send you some great freebies! I emailed Kelloggs last year. By working their deals, I was able to get more than $30 in concession/movie tickets and about 7 boxes of cereal for around $9 out of pocket. I emailed them to commend them on their promotions and tell them about the date night I had with my husband. They sent me a lovely letter, a cookbook, and several vouchers for $5 off any Kelloggs items!  I got lots of Special K Shakes for free with those!  So, try to proactively contact the companies.

And, finally, turn your coupons, rewards, or pennies into CASH.  I have two examples: 1. I found a huge sale at OshKosh about 6 months ago. They put their $34 shoes to $1.39 ea pair. I wasnt sure what size my kids would be in for this Spring, so I bought 20 pairs.. several in each size/style.  Worst case scenario, I was out less than $30 for my kids to have shoes for the Spring/Summer. Best case scenario? I put them up on Ebay and am selling them for a nice profit on each pair. My kids will wear theirs for FREE and I will have profit in my account to use on things like printers, etc.  2. I got some Gap $10 off rewards coupons. I went to Gap and found a crazy good deal. After I used my coupons, I paid $5.30 out of pocket to bring home $90 worth of ladies' sweaters, and a lovely winter dress for my daughter for next year.  I put those sweaters up for sale, too.  Whatever I make off them will be a profit and is a tidy way to turn those coupons I used to pay for them into cold hard cash.. to use anywhere.. on a trip to GattiTown, perhaps?

As you go about looking for deals and such, don't be discouraged if you can't find the exact one you need. Instead, look around and think creatively how you can turn the deal that's offered into the deal you need. You don't have to Ebay like I did. You can see what friends need. You can do a Craigslist Ad. If you can turn a deal you don't need into a moneymaker at the store, then you can take that extra money/savings to get what you want/need.  Just think outside the box.

And, if all else fails, hit up your favorite couponing blog and set them to the task of finding the deals you need! I am on it, guys!! Look for a post by tomorrow.
