This is a list of some places online that offer members only discounts, perks, freebies, etc.  If you are going to shop online, browse online, print coupons from online, or sign up for free samples online, these are a few places I have found to be handy and rewarding.

 

• Go HERE to sign up to shop through Ebates.  If you are going to shop online anyway, might as well get cash back for free, right? How it works is you log in to Ebates. Then, you search for the store online you want to shop. Just click the link through Ebates and shop like normal. Then, you will get a "Big Fat Check" rebate mailed to you.  Also, you can find some good coupons and online discount codes on Ebates.  I just checked and the Disney Store online has a 5% cash rebate when you shop through Ebates right now.  The downside? Ebates can track your purchases to see what your shopping habits are. New members do get a "sign up bonus". Sometimes it is $5, sometimes $10, etc.
• Have you signed up for Kraft's First Taste Program? How it works: Go HERE to sign up with Kraft First Taste. Then, check your email and the site from time to time. You will get chances to sign up for members only freebies and samples of new Kraft products.. from Jello to Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cooking Creme, etc.. 
• I have really loved the perks from joining the P&G Brand Saver online.  Every month, you can sign in and check the samples and coupons you want to receive. Then, they mail you a members only package. It is really nice. I have scored many freebies at Target and drugstores using these coupons. The nice thing I have noticed is that often these coupons may not have the size exclusions the ones in the paper have.. and often they are also more valuable. Go HERE to register. 
• A similar members only freebies site to P&G is the Vocalpoint one. Go HERE to sign up for this.
• Living Social is a site where you can purchase deals cheaply. You might get 50% off or more. The neat thing is that if you share the deal you purchase while it is still "live" and 3 of your friends purchase the deal through your link, you get yours FREE! Go HERE to sign up for various city "subscriptions" so you can get some great deal alerts. Recently, I purchased a $20 Amazon gift card for only $10. I used that to pay $4 for a huge box of PopTarts. 
• Similar to Living Social is Groupon. You don't get your Groupon deal free if 3 people buy from you, but I have still scored some really great deals going through Groupon.  Go HERE to check it out and sign up.

• Want free shipping on Amazon.com on Prime Eligible items, no minimum purchase necessary? Go HERE to sign up for a FREE membership to Amazon Mom.  You also get steep discounts on baby necessities like diapers.  There is no hidden cost. When your membership expires, there is nothing to cancel, etc.

Restaurant.com is a site I use frequently to get steep discounts/certificates to use at many favorite restaurants. How it works is you search your area to find participating restaurants. Then, you read the "fine print" in each of the deals and make your purchase.  You can often buy a $25 gift certificate to a local restaurant for $2.  The fine print will spell out what the terms are. Many are worded something like: $25 off minimum of $35 food purchase. Excludes alcoholic beverages. 18% Gratuity will be added... Etc etc etc.  Just be sure to read the terms of the certificate before you buy.  Then, you print out your certificate and take it to the restaurant when you go for your meal. 

I have even used these on vacations in places like the House of Blues.  That was an awesome meal! We hit their "happy hour" and got tons of half off specials... and then paid with our certificate. Mmm!

Just go HERE to Restaurant.com and enter in 80% off discount code MEAL. If you are undecided, you can always buy a $25 (or other) certificate for Restaurant.com, itself. THEN, use that code to redeem a $25 certificate for any of the participating restaurants that are offering one. (There are other certificate denominations, I just chose $25 to keep it simple).

Why Not Get PAID To Do What You Are Already Doing?

Friends have been recommending Ebates to me for a couple years now. They always act really shocked that I didn't already shop online by going through Ebates. I finally took the time the other day to check them out.  Wow! My friends were right. I am so annoyed with myself at all the money I could have been paid to shop online when I was already shopping online!

How it works is that you go to the Ebates Site (Sign up HERE if you are new to Ebates!). Then, you can select the participating vendor that you want to shop with.  You will get some great online coupons to use while you shop, if any are available.. and it will tell you how much you will earn when you shop that vendor.  For example, let's say you were going to shop on Gap.com (yes, Gap is a vendor!!). You would select them and see if there are any coupon deals for Gap. Ebates will also let you know that you will earn 3% (a fictional for example number) back when you shop Gap through Ebates.  Then, you just click on the link to the Gap online store and shop/pay as usual.  Your Ebates account will earn money, according to the percentage,etc. Then, every so often, Ebates will cut you a check and mail it to you for the amount your account earned in that period!  Pretty cool!

Just shop as you usually would! Go by the Ebates site first to see if where you are shopping online is listed there. Then, (after signing into Ebates) click through their link on the Ebates site. Continue as normally, and you are set to start getting some rebate checks! Nice!
