Hello Again!

Back From Hiatus

Thanks so much for bearing with me these several LONG months the blog has been on hiatus. As a Stay At Home Mom, SOMETIMES, my family needs me to focus on other things and put some things on the back burner.  Priorities have shifted yet again and I have the ability to bring the blog back to the forefront!

And I am very excited about it. During my absence, I made some new friends on other blogs! I cannot wait to review these blogs for you and maybe bring you some exclusive discounts and giveaways! I have discovered some unique things like Birthday Capes and Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Groups... and, I have encountered some Giveaway Gurus like Chip over at Chip&Co.    I cannot wait to bring these blogs and deals to you guys.

Also! Purex just contacted me yet again to let me know I get to be the first to try a brand new product. USUALLY, this leads to a fun giveaway on my blog.  I have some great ideas for my own giveaways as well.

Let's not forget my series I had in the infancy stage when I had to put the blog on the shelf for a few... I am going to tackle some of the issues, debates, and EXTREME perspectives facing couponers.  

New to the blog? My focus is to TEACH people how to rethink couponing and rethink the coupon culture. Use this blog to supplement the big guys. They do it best. I got a really heavy package in the mail about a month ago. I opened it to find I had been sent a 32 load bottle of Purex Complete with Zout: Fresh Morning Burst Scent to try out for myself and review for you guys.

I was happy to try it. The scent was really nice but not overwhelming, and it boasted stain lifting capabilities.  Having kids, this is a MUST in a detergent! 

So, I happily started washing laundry with this new detergent.  My husband walked in one day and said, quite out of the blue, "Whatever laundry soap we are using right now is my most favorite scent ever. Keep using this one."

I agree. It does smell really good. Does it remove stains better than other stain lifting detergents? I think it works about the same as a lot of the others. It does seem to work pretty well.

So, Purex teaming up with Zout= Pretty Wonderful Product.  I wonder if they can put this in a 3-in-1 Sheet? (I really love those from Purex!!)

Also, Purex Complete with Zout comes in a new FREE AND CLEAR formula.  So, there really is a Purex for everyone. And, the Purex Complete with Zout liquid detergent works in traditional and HE washers.

This is what's neato about the Purex Crystals vs other softeners:

• They are in a solid, crystals, form.. SO, if and when your kids get ahold of them or knock them over, there's no nasty spill to clean up. Which is also what I like about the Purex 3 in 1 sheets...
• They are 92% natural and not oil based like other liquid softeners. Oil left by other products decrease absorbency of fabrics like towels. Also, oil buildup on your clothes over time can discolor them.  Purex Crystals do not do either.
• ALSO, a big point for me is that Crystals Softeners do NOT interfere with the flame retardant qualities of your kids' sleep wear.

There are many more neat features that I have never thought to consider when buying a softener. Check out the link I posted above to learn more.

BUT, what did I really think about them? I liked them. They were convenient, easy to use, and they really had a lasting scent days after using them.  Also, I loved being able to try them for free! :)

However, the scent I was given was the Fresh Spring Waters scent.  I don't think I would seek that particular scent out again in the future. It just wasn't my thing.

Big News!

I Just Got Accepted as a Purex Insider!

A few weeks ago, I submitted myself and this blog to be reviewed as a possible Purex Insider. I just got the word that I was ACCEPTED!!! I am so very excited about this. This means I will get to try and review new and or improved Purex products.  ALSO, it means that, from time to time, they will sponsor some giveaways on my blog! It might be really great coupons, it might be product. It will be wonderful and fun!
