Today I Went To Target For a Few Necessities
And Found That They Have Some Good Stock Up Prices This Week
Having a memorized list of stock up prices is a must whether or not you have or use coupons. This will come in handy when you unexpectedly come across deals. Also, knowing your own stock up prices will help you decipher just how good a sale really is.
Things with prices on my stock up list that I found at Target today:
- 2 Circo Jackets for the kids this fall: $2 each
- Circo Outfit Complete with long ruffly tunic top and funky cute matching leggings: $2.50
- Circo Overalls: $3.74 (Jeans and such must be under $4 or I pass. No matter where I am shopping. IF I am at Gap or Gymboree, I consider $6 a rare splurge.)
- Snyder's Pretzels: $1.75 no coupon needed. My kids love pretzels and I refuse to buy them if they are $2 or more.
- Bounty Paper Towels: $4.99 for the equivalent of 8 rolls. My stock up price is between 50c and 75c a roll. I used $1 Q out of my P&G rebate Q book. Each roll was 62c
- Charmin Toilet Paper: $10.82 for the equivalent of 60 rolls. This is really amazing. My stock up price is 25c a roll or less. Each roll here was about 18c! (take the number of rolls, divide by 4 and this number is how much, at most you should pay. Like 60 rolls means you take 60 and divide by 4. That is 15. You should pay $15 or less for this quantity for the stock up price.) The "Like 60 rolls" Charmin was on clearance for $12.82. I had a $1 Q from the P&G brand rebate Q book, and I found a $1 TARGET Q peelie on a package in store. (always glance around.. you never know what you will find)
- Assorted Party Paper Plates/Napkins: 43c,37c,50c My stock up is 65c and less for a big pack. These were on clearance. My kids don't care, they just like the fun designs on paper plate night!
- Lunchables: On sale for 4/$5 and Buy 4 Get 1 Free. I bought 5 at $1 each. That is my stock up price, $1 or less per lunchable (the kind with the cookie dessert).
So, always try to have a written list or a mental list on hand for your stock up prices. You just never know when you might see a deal. You need to be ready to evaluate the deal and decide if it is time to buy.
