New Year, New Savings!

Welcome to my First Official Post!

 While I plan to start small, I hope to grow to suit the needs of the followers here. Please bear with me as I am new to the official blogging stuff! I love to find a good deal, and I love even more to share those deals with others.  About a year ago, I was at a friend's house. She showed me that I could take my deal hunting even further. I could save tons of money on everyday necessities. I could pay 10 cents for a tube of Crest toothpaste. I could get PAID to own Johnson's Buddies soaps. I could work rebates to come out even or get paid to own everything from Scrubbing Bubbles to Olay bodywash! Now, we aren't talking big bucks. But, the main goal was to pay as little as possible for the everyday items I bought.  Getting paid anything from 10 cents to a couple of bucks to own these things was just a bonus.  Mainly, getting things super cheaply or even free had a strong pull. I stood there looking at her closets stocked full of items, just listening as she would point to this item and say 10 cents, 30 cents, overage of 60 cents... and I started thinking. I was on a mission! I needed to learn this. I am a stay at home mom. Just cutting our grocery and necessities budget alone would really make a huge impact.  My friend was kind enough to point me in the right direction... the couponing direction. And, off I went! I have spent the last year figuring it out and doing some amazing deals. I want to help others the way my friend helped me. I want others to know what it feels like to go grocery shopping and have your receipt say you spent $96 and saved $106! I want others to leave a drugstore with a buggy full of shampoo, diapers, razors, and gummy vitamins with a receipt showing you spent $6 but got $10 back to use at the store the next visit. You guys can so do this! And, IF you are one that already does this, please follow the blog too! Your deals can help others, your comments can help too!

I decided to do a blog. So, here it is, in its infancy.  Please bear with me and grow with me. I have great plans for this blog. I plan to start small by posting the deals I find that interest me, and just showing you how I work them.  I am going to help show you how to do it, and give you the terminology too. This blog can be a good supplemental to some of the others. I have provided links to some of my favorites. You can search for your favorites, too. If you find some really good ones, let me know and I might put a link up here for others, as well.
